Diagnosed at 46
Hello! My name is Carl Ames, diagnosed at 46 with Parkinson’s Disease and now 52. Happily married to Leisa, 5 kids, and 4 grandkids. Great family!
My life has been greatly blessed since being diagnosed. I am very active in the Parkinson’s Disease community and have made many great new friends with Parkinson’s Disease and without.
I have learned that value of exercise and how it helps me to combat PD. I cycle, hike, yoga, swim, work out at the gym and strive to stay very active.
